The Wake and funeral services for Joe Dymon are now finalized.
The wake is Thursday, July 17 at Colonial-Forastiere Funeral Home, Agawam 985 Main St., Agawam MA
The uniform of the day as requested by Cmdt. Curnow, will be MCL undress, short sleeve shirt and piss cutter. muster at 6:30, ritual at 7:00.
Funeral services with military honors will be held Friday, July 18, 2008 at 10:30 am from the Colonial-Forastiere Funeral Home, ,
followed by a mass at 11:30 am in St. John the Evangelist Church, Agawam.
Burial with full military honors will follow in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.

It is with deep regrets that I announce the passing of our Department Quartermaster
Joseph Dymon 66 Deering St. Agawam MA 01001
He was a member of the Westfield River Valley Marine Corps League
He died peacefully this afternoon at 1345 in the Baystate Medical Hospital in Springfield, MA
In a phone conversation with Frank Real, arrangements have not as yet been finalized.
I will keep all of you up-to-date with arrangements and other news.

Posted 7/09/08 - LCpl Steven West's funeral

LCpl Steven West's funeral service will be held from the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, July 14th, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, at 12:00 noon. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
Wake hours will be on Sunday, July 13th, from 4-8 p.m.
We will form at 1900 and perform our service at 1930.

The Uniform of the day at the Stinson service on Saturday 12 July at 1100 will be the MCL undress blues with red cover. Because John was the Commandant Stinson's son, we want to pay full respects to him.

Public memorial service will be held on Saturday, 12 July 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Congregational First Church on 40 Monument Ave, Swampscott MA through arrangements made by the Solimine, Landergan & Richardson Funeral Home of Lynn. Uniform for the memorial service will be white short-sleeved MCL shirt, dress-blue trousers and red MCL cover.
We will form at 10:45 and pay our respects to Jay Stinson and family at 11:00.
